Personal Life

The surname Ballack is of Sorbian ancestry. He was the only child of a secretary and swimmer mother Karin and an engineer father Stephan, who also played third-division football. Ballack wed his long-time partner Simone Lambe on July 14, 2008. Three children, Louis (born in 2001), Emilio (born in 2002–2021), and Jordi, were born to the couple (born in 2005). 2012 saw the couple’s divorce. Before injuring his foot and missing the rest of the season, he took part in the first 6 games of the season. At the end of the season, he recorded 20 tackles and a pick. 

Diggs fully recovered from his injury in 2019. Also, as a senior in 2019, he played in all 12 of his games and recorded 37 tackles, 3 interceptions (ranked for 2nd  on the squad), 8 passes defended (linked for first on the team), and two forced fumbles and a 100-yard touchdowns return.
